Augustinian Priory founded c. 1135; manor house added by the Fenwick family, late C16th. Bought by Ward Cadogan c. 1825, inherited by William Hodgson Cadogan and restored by Cadogan Hodgson Cadogan 1858-1867.
Currently owned by English Heritage.
