Biography

It is possible - even probable - that this was Robert Hunte who was born 1799 and was buried, St Philip, Barbados, 16 November 1844 and was given as living at Sandy Hill. It also seems likely that he married Hannah Maria Husbands Beckles at St Michael, Barbados, 20 July 1826. Robert Beckles Hunte, who died at Wakefield in England in 1900, was presumably the son of this couple.
