Biography

Co-executor of Isaac Higgin (q.v.), a London merchant, in which capacity with Margaret Higgin and John Anderson, Thomas Graham was awarded the compensation for six estates in St Ann Jamaica.

  1. Almost certainly the London solicitor Thomas Graham of 3 Mitre Court Chambers, Temple. When Thomas Graham of Bladen Lodge Old Brompton and Mitre Court Chambers died in 1879, his will was proved by his nephew John Higgin Graham amongst other executors. He left £30,000 (resworn from £25,000 at probate). In 1851, Thomas Graham solicitor aged 55 born Newbury Berkshire was living with his wife Margaret aged 51 at Old Brompton Road; they had a visitor staying wth them, Mary Higgin aged 53. In 1841 aged 45 he was living in the 'hamlet of Brompton' with wife Margaret aged 40 and daughters Emily 20 and Helen 18. Thomas Graham Esq of Gray's Inn Square married Margaret Bell 17/10/1818 at St Giles in the Fields Holborn. Bladen or Bladon Lodge was built 1836, extended and remodelled by Clough Williams-Ellis 1928 and subsequently demolished.
