London lawyer, trustee of Sir George and Lady Harnage.

  1. On his marriage to Maria Fladgate in 1823, Henry Young was described as of the Inner Temple and of Essex Street.  In 1851 Henry Young solicitor was living at 23 Russell Square with wife Maria aged 50, 4 sons (3 involved in the law, the 4th at Balliol Oxford) and one daughter.

  2. Will of Henry Young late of Essex Street Strand, Russell Square Bloomsbury and Sudbury Grove Harrow solicitor who died 01/12/1869 proved 12/02/1870, effects under £100,000.  Son of Jonathan Young and Mary Waring, (1778-1845), illegitimate daughter of 11th Duke of Norfolk.

Harnage of St Georges Terrace Cumberland Gate, trustees under settlement dated 07/04/1826 created by an Indre of settlement of 07/06/1791 an annuity of £150 to Lady Harnage in case she survives her husband Sir George Harnage Bart. £3000 to be raised after both are dead for their children with interest 5 per cent from day of death of the survivor.
