Biography

Awardee of the compensation for three enslaved people on Antigua and until 1831 shown as the owner of the enslaved people on Mardenbrough estate on St Kitts. The people on the Mardenbrough estate were sold at a Marshal's sale in 1831, and were purchased by George Wright Mardenbrough's brother Christopher Mardenbrough (q.v.).

  1. Administration of the will of George Wright Mardenbrough who died 24/08/1848 at Sierra Leone granted 22/02/1862 to Margaret Christian Dixon (the daughter), effects £50 (resworn from £20).
