Owner of enslaved people on Orchard estate and also a legatee of £1000 apparently secured on enslaved people on Ducketts Spring. She with her husband Joseph Robert Bowen baptised a series of children at Chilcompton in Somerset in the 1820s. The 'J.G. Bowen' who was the officiating minister at one of these baptisms in 1824 was almost certainly John Grizzell Bowen (q.v.).
