Biography

Resident local planter, awarded compensation with co-owner William Shand of Liverpool (q.v.) for the Ogle and Montrose plantations in British Guiana, where in addition he was joint sequestrator on another large estate and probably the Alexander Simpson who was co-curator of D.T. Malloney on two further awards there.

  1. Died c.1837, when William Shand was his executor. Referred to by Da Costa as an indebted local planter on Montrose.
