Biography

This appears to be Rev. John Hampden (c. 1785-1847), the son of John Hampden of Christ Church Barbados, who became an English clergyman and died in 1847 at Bath 'of Hinton Martel Dorset'. His brother is identified in his will as Renn Hampden, inferred to be his co-owner, and his wife is identified in his will as Margaretta.
