Awarded £1000 from the compensation for the enslaved people on Round Hill on Nevis after counterclaiming as a legatee of Grace Camilla Self[e]: the remainder of the compensation was awarded to John Mark Cottle's sister-in-law Fanny Cottle (q.v.).

  1. Son of Thomas Cottle and brother of Thomas John Cottle. Death of John Mark Cottle registered at Cheltenham Gloucestershire Q2 1839.

  2. Grace Camilla Cottle married James Selfe of the parish of Trowbridge Wiltshire 14/11/1797 at St Giles Camberwell. Will of Grace Camilla Selfe widow of Trowbridge Wiltshire proved 25/10/1826.
