It is possible, but unlikely, that this is Henry Hirsh Samuel Beer, born 17/07/1791 in Amsterdam, the son of Samuel Joel Beer, watchmaker, and Maria Isaac Schmalbaken, and marrying 25/6/1818 Lea Juda Content at Middelburg.

  1. Henry Samuel Beer leased property in Queen Square Bristol from the Corporation in 1833. Will of Henry Samuel Beer gentleman Clifton Gloucestershire proved 04/05/1843.

  2. His widow, Elizabeth Mary, re-married to the Rev. John Titley, Hope Chapel, Clifton, 11 March 1847. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica c. 1796. (Titley was about 13 years younger.)
