Biography

Attorney and slave-owner in Jamaica. There is some confusion over the parentage of this man. He described Mary Williams Fearon as his mother; and the Rev. G.C.R. Fearon described him as his brother in a codicil to his will. Other sources show a man of the same name as son of Thomas and Mary Fearon of Clarendon, Jamaica, born c. 1751. Record of baptism of George Fearon in Clarendon, 1817, mother Angelina Israel.
