Major Peter Deshon

???? - 1852

Biography

'Major Deshon' was co-owner of Golden Grove on Trinidad with Dr Thomas Smith (q.v.) in the 1820s. LBS has tentatively identified him as Peter Deshon, whom the 1851 census shows as 'late Major 85th Regiment' having been born in St Vincent and lodging at 110 Warwick Street Leamington Priors with his wife Ann. The will of this man, proved 21/07/1852, offers no confirmation, however.
