Jane Gardner Kemeys (née Kemeys)

Mother of John Kemeys Gardner Kemeys (q.v.) and widow of John Gardner Kemeys ne Gardner.

1. Will of Jane Gardner Kemeys widow of Monmouth Monmouthshire proved 27/02/1798. In the will [made in 1793] she paid tribute to her daughter Susanna Margaret Gardner Kemeys' support though years 'loaded with melancholy and cruel affliction' and left her £1000 from her jointure,with the residue of her estate to her daughter Susanna Margaret and son John Kemeys Gardner Kemeys.

1. PROB 11/1302/260. The will is silent on a third child, Jane, who had eloped with a servant, Providence Hansard, LMA ACC/1360 Clitherow Family.
