Absentee slave-owner on Barbados, dying of Kentish Town c. 1752.

Will of Marmaduke Rawdon [late of Hoddesdon now of Kentish Town in the parish] of St Pancras proved 04/11/1752. He left the claims he had over Fisher Pond, which he said had been sold by his grandfather Thomas Rawdon shortly before the latter's death and on [presumably the purchase price of] which there were arrears, to his daughter Esther [sic], wife of Joseph Keeling (q.v.) of Barking; he had he said conveyed to Joseph Keeling and Esther another estate, known as Rawdon's Rents.
