Biography

Son of Richard Nicholl, and with his brother Vincent Nicholl (q.v.) owners of the Lewisham Anchor Brewery from the 1830s. Richard Nicholl had gifted each of the two men £5000 in the 1830s, and left them further assets, including (with their brother Charrington) his St Vincent estates, in his will made in 1836 and proved in 1839.

  1. Harry Nicholl late of Lewisham and of the Firs Blakeney Road Beckenham left £94,167 4s 3d on his death in 1889.
