Biography

Previous owner of Cumberland estate on St Vincent which was sold in 1812 by the Provost Marshal: his interest appears to have been reduced to he equity of redemption. When his daughter died at Mapperton House Bridport in 1818 he [given as J.F. Grant] was described as late of the island of St Vincent. He has not been further traced to date.
