Biography

Sarah Louisa Miller and her husband Andrew Miller counterclaimed in her right as the sole devisee of John Ward for the compensation for an estate on Nevis tentatively identified as Wards. To date the couple have not been traced beyond their marriage in 1818 and their appearance in the 1851 census.

  1. Marriage at St Andrew Enfield 31/01/1818 of Andrew Miller and Sarah Louisa Ward widow. 'W. Miller, of Hasfield Rectory, Gloucestershire, to Sarah Louisa Ward, widow of the late Judge Ward, of the Island of Nevis.'

  2. In 1851 W. Andrew Miller 'Captain retired' aged 62 and Sarah Louisa Miller aged 60 born Atlantic Ocean were living at 16 Charlwood Street.
