Governor of Barbados 1772-1779, son of 8th Earl of Kinnoull and Lady Abigail Harley. In his will he left 'any negroes men women and children' he might die possessed of to his second wife, and later in the will he recommended that she sold such jewels and enslaved people 'as she may not have occasion of.'
