Counterclaimant as executor and residuary legatee of Julius Samuel Rich assignee of a legacy from John Richardson Herbert (q.v.). Thomas Gilby appears to have been the innkeeper of the Woolpack Tavern St Peters Alley, Cornhill, and was presumably the son of Thomas Gilby linen draper of Oxford Street [and formerly of Bath], who appears in the will of Julius Samuel Rich as his residuary legatee.
