Biography

Daughter and heir of William Bulkeley of Plaistow. Under the will of her father, proved 23/12/1720, she inherited his unnamed estate [and enslaved people] on Barbados, together with his moiety of the manor of Gubbins (Gobions) in Hertfordshire., the latter subject to the life-interest of her grandmother, also Mary. She married John Gould, later MP for New Shoreham, in 1724.
