Colin Dallas

???? - 1809

Biography

Returned surgeon of St Vincent, of St James London when he made his will in 1809.

  1. Will of Colin Dallas surgeon [late of St Vincent now residing at Thatcher House] St James Middlesex proved 04/01/1810. He left monetary legacies totalling £6200 to his family and friends, and his property in Glasgow (left to him by his father John) to his brother Torquil Dallas. He instructed his trustees and executors to sell his real and personal estate to fund the legacies. The will is silent on slave-property, but given that two of his executors (James Campbell and Farquhar Campbell) were of St Vincent, it appears that he did hold property there.
