Biography

Probably the father of five Isaacs children who were slave-owners in Jamaica in the 1820s and 1830s: Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Judith and Asher Isaacs (all q.v.). All born in Jamaica between 1789 and 1803. Three other children - Miriam (1791), Henry (1798) and George (1804) have not been traced. An online family tree gives another daughter, Eliza, who married Mordecai Palache (q.v.).

Solomon Isaacs registered enslaved people in Kingston 1817-1832 but has not been found in the compensation records.
