Biography

Slave-owner on Barbados, purchasing Redland Court in Gloucestershire c. 1710. He left an unnamed estate in Gloucestershire to his natural son Thomas Maycock with Mrs Ann Eley or Ely for life; he also left 'slave-property' in Barbados to his [legitimate] sons Thomas and John.
