Ann Brissett (née Rankin)

Widow of Joseph Brissett senior and mother of Joseph Brissett junior (both of whom q.v.).

1. Will of Ann Brissett widow of Hersham Surrey proved 04/11/1831. In the will she disposed of the 'few trifles' of her personal effects to mostly female relatives and friends, including her 'daughters' Eliza Tharp Erskine, Mary Josepha Davies, Ann Wilhelmina Stewart and Pool[e] Sabina Manners [probably in fact her step-daughters], with some effects to her [then minor] grandson Joseph Brissett. Her residuary legatee and executor was her son Joseph Brissett [junior].
