Air Mount had belonged to Thomas Mackenzie or McKenzie (q.v.), and Mary Mackenzie was possibly his daughter-in-law, the widow of John Mackenzie or McKenzie (q.v.).

  1. Probably the Mary Mackenzie aged 54 born Oakamoor Staffs. mortgagee who in 1851 was a visitor at her son and daughter-in-law's house at Penkridge, Staffs. Her son was shown as John W. H. Mackenzie, a General Practitioner aged 27 born Caverswall Parish Staffs. Another visitor was his sister, Madeline Mackenzie, aged 22 born St Thomas-in-the-East Jamaica.
