Claimant or beneficiary

Biography

Claimant with his wife Elizabeth for arrears of an annuity under the will of Martin Byam. Elizabeth Muller was the child of Martin Byam either by a first marriage or from an 'outside' family. The annuity under Martin Byam's will appears to have been the £200 p.a. left by Martin Byam to his son Samuel Byam, who in turn left his property to Elizabeth Muller, either his sister or half-sister.

  1. Will of Charles Frederick Muller of Boulogne proved 20/04/1852. The will makes no reference to his wife or to property in Antigua.

Sources

Vere Langford Oliver, History of Antigua Vol. I p. 98 records only Martin Byam's marriage to Elizabeth Warner nee Blizard, who in her own will described Elizabeth Muller as the daughter of her husband Martin Byam.
