John Gardner junior was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 792 acres of land in St Andrew, 800 acres in St Thomas-in-the-East, 2234 acres in Clarendon and 100 acres in St Dorothy, total 3926 acres.

Gardner and March were listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owners of 1320 acres of land in St Thomas-in-the-East. This may refer to Francis March or Foster March, John Gardner, John Gardner junior or Samuel Gardner (all q.v.).
