Biography

Resident slave-owner in Jamaica, dead by 1789. His wife died at Wellington Place, Bristol in 1825 aged 81. The two later Larchin Gordons, senior and junior, who appear in the slave compensation records, were different men: at least one was a free man of colour.

Larchin Gordon contributed £28 to the University of Pennsylvania following Dr John Morgan's fundraising tour of the West Indies in 1772-1773.
