Biography

Creole, born in Hanover Jamaica, but later an absentee slave-owner, recorded with five enslaved people in Hanover in 1817 and by 1829 with John Williams 'still a runaway'.

  1. Will of Jacob Bucknor of Gentleman of Bedminster Somerset [made 21/12/1833] proved 03/06/1834. After modest monetary legacies to two friends or relatives, he left his estate in the proportions 1/3rd and 2/3rd to his nephews John Blagrove Bucknor and Thomas Bucknor.
