Dublin merchant, partner with John Sayers, and mortgagee of the Peruvian Vale and Henry's Vale estates in St Vincent from 1802. With John Sayers and John Gordon he was also party to a deed of 1804 whereby the three men agreed to accept bills of exchange drawn on them by Jonathan Morgan in favour of the partners of Lang, Turing for a total of £19,959 4s 2d over three years, secured on the Lower Diamond and Escape estates and the enslaved people attached to them. The Dublin merchants took on the consigneeship as part of this agreement.
