Headmaster of Jamaica College c. 1818-1825. Son of John Cross Rose and Mary nee Gillespie, born 10/04/1795 and baptised 16/04/1798. Two children baptised in St Ann, Jamaica, mother Susannah Newby Rose: John Charles (1818) and Ann Bromley (1825).
