William Gibbons

Purchased a moity of Bybrook estate in St Thomas-in-the-East, Jamaica, from William and John Helyar in 1713 for £2,350. The other moity was owned by his father-in-law John Halstead.

William Gibbon was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 1000 acres of land in St Catherine.
