Biography

Executor of Alexander Heron (q.v.).

  1. Possibly the Alexander Woodburn, merchant of Glasgow, who married Heron's daughter Frances Catherine in Edinburgh in 1838. More likely, however, to be an earlier member of this family - Alexander Heron named his eldest son Alexander Woodburn Heron in 1815, suggesting the son was named after the man who became Alexander's executor.
