The inscription recorded on the reverse of the portrait of Thomas Lancaster Davies shows that his daughter Decima Davies married Charles Inman of Spital Hall [the younger, son of Charles Inman of Spital Hall who died in 1858]: their son Wilfred Alexander Inman migrated to Australia and married Mary, daughter of Sir James and Lady Isabella Martin.
