Owner of Pontefract estate in St George, Jamaica; he leased either the estate or the enslaved people attached to it - which or whom appear to have come to him through marriage to Henrietta Jepson - to Wentworth Bayly at some point between the 1820 and 1823 Slave Registers. Probably the harbour master of Annotto Bay of the same name who died in 1822. His administratrix was Henrietta Gray (formerly Henrietta Phillips and previously Jepson) (q.v.) his widow.
