Biography

Son of John Pinney of Nevis and Mary Helme, and cousin of Azariah Pinney. MP for Bridport 1747-1761.

  1. Will of John Frederick Pinney of Bettiscombe, Dorset proved 04/12/1762. After several monetary legacies and one annuity (of £105 p.a. to Caroline Simes late of Richbell Court but now of Grays Inn London) he left the remainder of his estate in trust under entail for John Pretor. The contingent heirs included Jacob Houblon and John Houblon.
