Biography

Widow of John Hyde (q.v.), mother-in-law of George Doyle and grandmother of John Hyde Doyle (q.v.). The enslaved people on the Body Ponds estate in Antigua were registered to her in 1817.

  1. Will of Mary Hyde widow of North Street proved 06/11/1817. In the will she divided her property between her daughter Mary Doyle and her husband George Doyle, and Mary Miller who was living with her.
