Resident slave-owner on Antigua with interests in Dominica. Son of Thomas Daniell of The Villa, Antigua (Attorney General of Dominica, d. Snettisham Norfolk 1806) and Ann Lindsey. Will dated 09/07/1813 proved 22/09/1814: reportedly instructed his executors to sell his estate in Dominica, the rents on The Villa to go to his wife Elizabeth and their children if any, then to Maj. General John Lindsay.

Member of the Baillie of Dochfour family who had numerous mercantile connections in the West Indies. The compensation for Baillie's Bacolet in Grenada was awarded to the trustees of her marriage settlement. Grand-daughter of Colin Roy Campbell of Glenmure. Apparently a victim of the quack doctor John St John Lang of Harley Street in 1830.
