The beneficiaries of the compensation for Merryfield in St John Jamaica, John M. Tucker and his wife Mary, are conceivably John Millard Tucker the Bristol surveyor who was appointed Engineer to the Bristol and Exeter Railway and whose will [which is silent on Jamaica property] was proved 27/05/1850 and his wife, who was Mary Parker widow on her marriage to John Millard Tucker in 1825.
