Owner of Lincoln and Spice Grove in Manchester, Jamaica. Deceased by 1817. Probably of West Butterwick, Lincolnshire, married to Christiana Robinson (whose burial at Owston Lincolnshire was recorded 28/09/1815 aged 83). Two of the counterclaimants to slave compensation under his will were John Johnson and his wife Evelina nee Robinson of Burton-upon-Strather in Lincolnshire; they have been found in the census of 1841 in Burton-upon-Strather and married there in 1824.
