Biography

Anglican clergyman, son and co-heir of the Tobago slave-owner George Morison of Montagu Square (q.v.).

Ord. deacon (Barbados) 1836; priest, 1836; C. in Tobago, 1836-40. Assistant Chaplain at Aden and Surat, 1841-8. Chaplain at Aden, Deesa, etc., 1850-8. C. of Morvah, Cornwall, 1859-60. Translated Hymns of Prudentius. Latterly of Beachland, Ventnor, Isle of Wight. Disappears from Crockford 1895.
