William Whitmore

Biography

William Whitmore was shown as the co-owner of the Carapichaima Hall estate on Trinidad in 1813 with Philip Langton (q.v.). A genealogical site associates the William Whitmore Assistant Commissary in Trinidad in 1801 (and in 1811 Deputy Commissary in Barbados) with the William Whitmore late Deputy Commissary on half-pay of Her Majesty's Armed Forces of Yarmouth Norfolk, whose will was proved 12/01/1856. The will makes no allusion to Trinidad and left all Whitmore's estate to John Chippendale Navy and Army Agent of John Street Adelphi London, who died very shortly after William Whitmore.
