Richard Parris Pile senior

Resident slave-owner on Barbados, reported to have paid David Hall (q.v.) £20,500 for the Perry's [later Springfield] estate in St Joseph in 1804. Estimated to have been born in 1774 in Barbados. Son of Eyare Pile and Elizabeth Parris and husband of Charlotte Pile. Brother of Ann Walcott Clarke; Conrad Pile II; William Yard Pile; Mary Popple Pile and Eyare Pile. Children included: Richard Parris, junior (q.v.); Nathaniel Jones; Charlotte J. and Elizabeth B. Pile.
