1769 - 1827
The son of John Vassall of Bath (q.v.) was given simply as Robert Vassall in the former's will but there appears little doubt that Robert Oliver Vassall is the same man, son of John Vassall of Bath and Elizabeth Oliver. He appears to have purchased the Abingdon estate in Hanover c. 1815.
Robert O. Vassall, white, was living at Abingdon in the 1823 Hanover census with Christian Vassall, John Vassall, Mary Vassall (no age given for them).
