Manager of Romneys estate in St Kitts in 1834. Son of Richard Cardin. His father had managed Romneys from at least 1817.
John Cardin, son of Richard Cardin (1732-1834) and his wife Anne nee Chiles (1783-1868), baptised in Maidstone, Kent, in 1811.
John Cardin remained in St Kitts after his father died and his brother Richard Edward Cardin returned to England. He was a treasury clerk from 1858 and died in St Kitts in 1869.
