John Williams of Clarendon

Owner of Cool Spring estate in Clarendon, Jamaica. Died 1829.

1. Will of John Williams of Clarendon, Jamaica [commonly denominated the Honourable] proved 24/06/1830. Under he will he left the money owed to him by William McCartney doctor of physic in trust for the benefit of his [the testator's] reputed daughter Sarah Williams, and he left the income from a further £2000 to her. His residuary legatees were his brothers William Walter Williams, Thomas Williams and Edward Williams.

Counterclaims from Sarah Williams [of Kingston] judgement creditor and William Walter Williams [Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire] and Thomas Williams [Ryde, Isle of Wight, Hampshire], surviving devisees under will of John Williams.
