Biography

Slave-owner in Jamaica, father of John Piercy Henderson (q.v.). Developer of Port Henderson, Jamaica as a spa and as a port for Spanish Town, and builder of Foswell, Auchterarder, Perthshire. Described in 1793 as 'late of Jamaica and then of Great Britain.'
