1794 - 1862
Lavinia Harman, together with her husband Samuel Harman formerly of Jermyn Street but now of Boulogne-sur-Mer, counterclaimed on the Williamsfield estate in Jamaica. The connection, if any, of her husband to the Samuel Harman (q.v.) who claimed for the compensation on an eponymous estate in Antigua, has not yet been traced.
Lavinia was the daughter of William Innes and Selina nee Chambers (q.v.). She married Samuel Harman 15/03/1825 in St Clement Danes, Westminster, England. In 1851, Lavinia Harman aged 57 born Jamaica was living with husband Samuel aged 64 landowner born Middlesex at 32 High Street Chipping Barnet.
Will of Lavinia Harman late of 56 Addison Road Kensington who died there 22/04/1862 proved 20/08/1864 by [her husband] Samuel Harman of 14 Gloucester Terrace Campden Hill and Frederick Michael Harman of 46 St Pauls Road Camden Town the son, effects under £20, resworn Mar 1866 under £2000.
