Biography

Timothy Blenman was the original purchaser or grantee in Tobago on 20/05/1765 of Barbados Bay (St George parish) Lot no. 9, which became Mesopotamia estate. The estate was shown by Fowler against William Blenman (Timothy's brother) in 1773, although according to Smith, 'Timothy Blenman's estate remained the technical owners of the Tobago estates until 1794.'

  1. Timothy Blenman was one of the 28 resident signatories of 'A petition from the Proprietors of Tobago to the Governor General' 16/09/1767.
