Biography

Daughter of Thomas Meade, a planter of Montserrat, and Mary nee Hussey. Her nephew Isidore Lynch, of the City of Paris, claimed part of the compensation for Farm estate in Montserrat as a legatee of £500 and 1/5th of the residue under the will of Bridget Meade.

Selby of Acton, Esq., and Tho. Hill of the I. of Montserrat, Esq., upon Trust to sell to pay debts as well as my own as those of my late sister Mary, decd. To Stanislaus the son of my late brother Dominick M., now residing in France, £2000. My nephew Tho. Lynch, the interest of £1500 for his life, and at his death to his 4 daus., his present wife. My nephew Isidore K. £500. My niece Cath. L. £500. My niece Eleanora Dutoit £500. Louisa Farrell, spr., now residing in Paris, who resided with Mrs Macnamara, decd, £50. Madame Charboniere (late Liddy Farrell), wife of Mr C., £100. Mrs Stonor of Spetisbury Ho. £180 due to her by my late sister Helena M., also £200. Wm Sheldon, Nich. Selby and Tho. Hill £50 each. All residue to Stanislaus Tho. L., Isidore L., Cath. L. And Eleanora Dutoit. Trustees to be Ex’ors.

Codicil. 31 Oct. 1813. Leg. to servants. Proved 7 Aug. 1815 by W.S. and T.H., Esqures; power reserved to Nich. Selby, Esq. On 4 Nov. 1837 adm’on of estate left unad. by W.S. and T.H., decd, granted to Tho. Hopton Forbes, the Ex’or of Eleonora Mary Du Toit, wid., decd., the niece. Nich. Tuite (written Nich. Selby) having renounced and is dead, Tho. Henry :, Cath L, spr., and sd. El. Mary Du Toit survived, but died, and Isidore L., Esq., not appearing.
